Mountain Bike @ Kaitoke

Modern mountain bikes with gel saddles, front suspension and ergonomic grips, perfectly suited to the Remutaka Incline and beyond. Great for all ages between 110cm - 190cm in height, with all necessary "bike bits" included. Select this option for there-and-back trips from Kaitoke to either Summit or Cross Creek (or however far your legs can take you!).

Timing guide:

• 2 hours - gives faster riders enough time to ride the Remutaka Incline up to Summit, check out the tunnels and swingbridge, then head back to Kaitoke.
• 4 hours - gives most riders enough time to ride the Remutaka Incline up to Summit, check out the tunnels and swingbridge, enjoy a picnic and return to Kaitoke; or for faster riders gives enough time to go all the way to Cross Creek and back.
  
• 6 hours - gives most riders plenty of time to ride the whole Remutaka Incline and back, checking out the tunnels and bridges, enjoying a leisurely picnic and maybe even a swim, taking in all the info boards and exploring all the side trails.
