CHILD definition and requirements Children must be a minimum of 1 metre high to be able to ride in the 'Jet Boat'. Shotover Jet reserves the right to extend this to 1.2 metres depending on weather and river conditions. For ticketing 5-15 years a child requires a paid ticket. Under five years are ticketed and rides free with a fare-paying adult. Children aged 10-15 can travel unaccompanied as long as a parent or guardian is on-site, but children any younger must travel with a parent or guardian aged 16 years or older.FAMILY definition and requirements A family is defined as two Adults and two paying Children living together as a unit. Additional Children and Adults are at normal retail rates.
