Tour Details:

Following a smooth rail trail, cycle paths, wetland boardwalk, suspension bridges and country roads, this 84km trail is both relaxing and highly rewarding with a huge amount of variety in scenery.

As you ride this trail you will experience complete immersion into some of New Zealand’s rural heartland, with rolling farmlands and backcountry townships that will leave you with lasting memories of old fashioned kiwi hospitality.

You can ride anything from 15km per day through to 50km, (or more if you really want to!), and our support wagon will not be far away the whole time.
B&B accommodation options can also be sorted by your R&R Adventures staff for either a two or three night stay in the ‘winterless’ north.

As well as add on tours in the area or even a trip to the fantastic Waitangi Mountain Bike park for the more adventurous*
