Hiking food is one of the most important parts of your hiking experience. It’s the fuel to get you up and over that alpine pass, your reward for making it to the hut at the end of the day, and the pick me up when you need a kick! 

With our Great Walk food packages, you definitely won’t go hungry with plenty of snacks provided and extras for contingencies. 

Our food choices have been carefully thought out with taste, nutrition, ease, and planet care in mind – saving you the last-minute dash to the supermarket.

The pick up location is in Te Anau. Alternatively we can deliver to your accommodation in Queenstown or Te Anau.

There are several Menus to choose from: Regular, Vegetarian, Gluten Free. We can also cater for the Dairy Free, and Vegan* though the selection is somewhat limited.

We will let you make your selection (or we can choose for you) via a questionnaire. Please note it may happen that your choice is not available (due to suppliers selling out), we will then replace that particular item with something as close as your choice as possible.

Our 3 days, 2 nights package includes:

• 2 x Breakfast

• Plenty of Snacks & Drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, electrolytes)
• Extras - Just In Case
• Note: there is no thermos included in our food packages, please bring your own.

* The Vegan menu calls for an extra fee of $50 due to the more expensive products in the food package.
