Our Mackenzie and Lakes Alpine Excursion is a 25-minute experience that takes in the beauty of the Mackenzie Basin, its lakes and mountains, and includes an alpine landing.

Enjoy the Legendary Mackenzie’s contrast of colours, with the mix of golden glowing tussock hills, turquoise glacier-fed lakes and snow-capped mountains. Fly over iconic high country sheep and beef stations into the rugged Mackenzie landscape, before landing high in the alpine environment with panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and valleys carved out by glaciers over thousands of years.

This flight includes a landing stop at an alpine location where you can step outside the helicopter to snap photos and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
