Mt Cook Supreme - 60 minutes

60 minute scenic flight including:

• Franz Josef, Fox, Tasman and Shackleton Glaciers (discovered by Sir Earnest Shackleton)

• Mount Cook & Mount Tasman

• Fly through the Southern Alps where the "Lighting of The Beacons" was filmed for Lord of the Rings

• 2 x approx 10 minute snow landings

• Ice Lake

NZD $695 per adult includes GST, flight, Department of Conservation concession & landing fee valid to 30th Sep 2023.

There is not a lot of space in the helicopters. Selfie sticks, large bags and backpacks are best left behind, or with office staff for safe keeping.

Flight duration is approximate. Flights, routes and landings are subject to weather conditions and are at the pilot’s discretion.

We recommend you bring a light jacket, sunglasses, camera and solid shoes.

Check-in is at our office at 10 Main Road, Franz Josef, you should arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. We’ll conduct a weight and balance, complete payment and safety brief you before transporting you to our helipad at the edge of town.

We ask if you want to cancel your booking for 24 hours notice. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged for their flights. If your day doesn't go to plan please do reach out, we will try reschedule you to a later flight or the next day where possible. 

Being a weather dependent activity we reserve the right to change the route or cancel your flight for safety reasons or if minimum numbers (4 pax) to depart are not met. All flights must meet the helicopters Weight & Balance requirements, this is based on the group of passengers weight spread throughout the machine not any individuals weight. Safety is our priority.

We operate AS350 B2 Squirrels (seating 6 people and the pilot) and a MD 520N (seating 4 people and the pilot)

Infants must be sitting on an adults knee and are subject to availability.
