The tour is self-guided and flexible to your needs.
You will hop on the trail at Nelson Airport, enjoy a leisurely 26 km cycle through to Mapua (about 2 hours excluding stops). Grade 2 easy. On the way indulge in scrumptious real berry icecreams and enjoy beautiful wetlands. Cross from Rabbit Island on cycle ferry to Mapua. You can take a coffee break here before heading into the Moutere for some wine tasting opportunities before finishing up at the Moutere Hills vineyard for late lunch at Forsters restaurant or at the old Moutere Inn, NZ's oldest pub.
We recommend an early start for this tour so that you have plenty of time to enjoy the sights and the tasting opportunities plus a leisurely lunch.
